“We are pleased to announce that “Aqua Maløy” has been delivered to us and is currently on her way to Norway where she will commence a long term contract. She is the second vessel in a series of six identical 3900m3 live fish carriers,” DESS Aquaculture Shipping writes in an update on LinkedIn.
DESS Aquaculture Shipping is a joint venture between Mowi and the supply company DESS.
“Aqua Måløy” is the second vessel in a series of six identical 3,900m3 wellboats.
In addition to this wellboat series, Mowi has already delivered two other wellboats, in a different design, “Aqua Kvaløy” and “Aqua Tromøy” respectively.
The company has also taken delivery of the harvest vessel boat “Aqua Merdø”, as well as the three workboats “Beinn Nibheis”, “Beinn Bhreac” and “Beinn Dearg”.
