Mowi maintains top ranking on Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index for sixth year running.
Mowi has been named the top-ranked animal protein producer on the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index for the sixth consecutive year.
The Index, which evaluates 60 of the world’s largest meat, dairy, and aquaculture companies, scores firms based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics across ten critical themes. These include greenhouse gas emissions, water use, biodiversity, and animal welfare.
Mowi’s Chief Sustainability and Technology Officer, Catarina Martins, attributed the company’s continued success to its focus on sustainable practices. “Mowi’s relentless pursuit of excellence and sustainable practices has earned us the top spot in the FAIRR rating for the sixth consecutive year,” Martins said. “This reflects our vision of Leading the Blue Revolution and our dedication to producing healthy and sustainable food from the ocean.”
