Mowi wins gold at Farmand Awards for annual report excellence.

Mowi has once again secured gold at the Farmand Awards, which recognize the best annual reports in Norway. This marks the sixth gold and the eleventh consecutive year Mowi has been on the podium. The jury commended Mowi’s integrated reporting approach, which combines environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics with financial performance.

The company reaffirmed its 2024 harvest volume guidance of 500,000 GWT during its Q3 presentation and announced a 2025 target of 520,000 GWT. This represents a significant increase from 2018, when volumes were at 375,000 tonnes, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 4.8%, compared to the industry’s 2.7%.

In September, Mowi presented its long-term plans at a Capital Markets Day, targeting continued volume growth above industry averages and cost reductions of €300–400 million. The company has also achieved key milestones in finance and ESG compliance, including a BBB+ investment grade credit rating from Nordic Credit Rating and the issuance of two green bonds totaling €298 million.

In a statement on LinkedIn, CFO Kristian Ellingsen emphasized the collective effort behind Mowi’s achievements, stating, “This recognition underscores the high quality of our external reporting and the hard work of our teams. It highlights our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and operational excellence.”
