Stutts Armstrong, seafood industry vet, to lead Smoked Biz/Value Added.

Multiexport Foods, a Chile-based company, today announces the appointment of Stutts Armstrong to the role of Director of Smoked Business and Value Added for its Latitude 45 smoked salmon brand.

A seafood-industry veteran of nearly three decades with the likes of Vita Foods, Great Fish Co./Colorado Boxed Beef, Pescanova and Icicle Seafoods, Armstrong delivers vast expertise managing key accounts that include Publix, Kroger, Aldi, Albertsons/Safeway and ConAgra. He will be charged with expanding national exposure and sales via innovative means for Latitude 45 in the growing “smoked” category.

“In a relatively short period of time, Latitude 45 has established itself as a top consumer choice for smoked salmon via a meticulously crafted smoking process and world-class sustainable practices,” said Multiexport Foods CEO Andres Lyon.

“Having garnered vast knowledge throughout an impressive three-decade tenure in the seafood arena, Stutts brings another layer of expertise to Latitude 45 to continue to spread that message through innovative sales means and promotions.”

Armstrong will be based in Greenville, S.C., and report to U.S.-based General Manager Jason Paine
