Infectious salmon anemia (ISA) has been detected at the Måøydraga site, owned and operated by Måsøval.

Måsøval initially reported findings consistent with ILA to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority on August 9, based on PCR analysis of fish samples from the Måøydraga site (location 12370). The diagnosis was confirmed on August 23 by the Norwegian Veterinary Institute.

To prevent the spread of the infection, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority has imposed restrictions on the site, including a ban on moving fish without special permission. The restricted zone is expected to extend approximately 10 to 20 kilometers from the affected locations, with adjustments based on local conditions.
