Constance Wolfe appointed for USA sales of premium Regal Fresh King Salmon fillets.

In a press release, NZ King Salmon writes that it has appointed Constance Wolfe in a new position as director of retail sales for North America.

Wolfe has extensive experienced in sales and has helped grow popular natural food brands in the grocery channel, including several sold in the refrigerated case. She has worked at health brands such as Laird Superfood and Coconut Bliss.

Regal, the largest salmon producer in New Zealand, expanded to the U.S. in 2018 with its smoked salmon line, which is sold pre-packaged in refrigerator cases.

Regal now sells its cold smoked slices and wood-roasted portions of salmon on Amazon and in such supermarkets in numerous U.S. regions as Safeway, Albertsons and Fresh Thyme Markets.

King Salmon is priced higher than the average farmed salmon and was mostly sold to high-end consumers and restaurants. In light of the pandemic and closed restaurants, the salmon farmer is looking into new opportunities to tap into rising demand for salmon from specialty food consumers who are cooking more at home.
