Nina Møgster has announced her resignation as Managing Director of Lingalaks and Linga Service, a position she has held since June 2023.
Møgster, who lives in Austevoll, cited the challenges of long-distance commuting as the primary reason for her decision. In a statement, she expressed her satisfaction with the company, acknowledging its strong production, positive reputation in animal welfare, and effective lice management practices.
“I am very happy with the company, but the long distance and commuting has been demanding,” Møgster said. “This has led me to step down from my role.”
Lingalaks CEO and principal owner Erlend Haugarvoll expressed gratitude for Møgster’s contributions, which included enhancing operational efficiency and leading the development of a new strategy for the company.
Haugarvoll emphasized that while the company respects Møgster’s decision, her efforts will be missed. “Nina has focused on efficient production and improving our operations. We are happy that she will work for us until November and remain available for support until February 2025,” he said.
Effective November 13, Erlend Haugarvoll will assume the role of Managing Director.
