Nordic Aquafarms has hired Brenda Chandler as CFO in the US, beginning in March 2019.
“We are very pleased that Brenda has chosen to join the company as we are proceeding with our plans in the U.S,” said President Erik Heim in a press release. “I also want to thank Thomas A. Brigham, who has been assisting us as acting CFO in the start-up and transition phases.”
Chandler comes from a career in the technology and paper industries. She was the Senior Director and Assistant Treasurer at Fairchild Semiconductor, a company that specialises in the development and manufacturing of a complete portfolio of low- to high-power solutions for the mobile, industrial, cloud, automotive, lighting, and computing industries.
The company recenty announced that they are building a new huge fish farm in California that’ll bring Nordic Aquafarm’s total US output to 50,000 tonnes of salmon per annum.
