It has entered into a letter of intent with Intership for the sale of the wellboats “Dønnalaks” and “Viktoria Viking”.
NTS reported it in a stock exchange announcement this Friday afternoon.
“Dønnalaks” was built in 2002, while the “Viktoria Viking” was built in 2009. The load capacity is 970 cubic and 1,050 cubic respectively.
The wellboats are planned to be delivered to the buyers either at the end of September or the beginning of October for a purchase price of EUR 19.5 million. The fully integrated Norwegian aquaculture group, NTS, will gain about EUR 6 million from the transaction, subsequently its stock price is up 5,4% today.
After the sale of the vessels, the company will have a fleet of seven wellboats. In addition, a vessel is hired on a bareboat agreement, and an agreement has been signed for the delivery of new buildings in the summer of 2020.
The agreement also entails a memorandum of understanding for a further new building.
