In a bulletin, Chilean salmon farmer Nova Austral has informed the Oslo Stock Exchange that its chief operating officer (COO), Francisco Miranda, is in a delicate state of health after an accident that happened on Thursday the 17th of October.

CFO Nicolas Larco has assumed Francisco Miranda’s duties in the meantime. In addition, Javier Herrera Portorelli, former Seawater Production Director at Cermaq Chile, will join the Company as a Production Manager, on 15th of November, with responsibilities for freshwater and seawater operations.

“Nova Austral is operating normally and hopes Francisco Miranda will recover soon and resume his functions as soon as his health allows it,” Nova Austral wrote.
