NZ King Salmon COO resigns

New Zealand King Salmon chief operating officer, David Whyte has resigned.

New Zealand King Salmon CEO and Managing Director Grant Rosewarne commented, “on behalf of the Board and the whole New Zealand King Salmon team, I thank David for the outstanding contribution he has made to our company. His experience has been valuable in continuing to improve fish performance, and in developing our future farming vision. We are disappointed to see him leave and wish him all the best for the future.”

David Whyte joined the company in January 2018 and previously worked in technical and commercial management roles in Marine Harvest Scotland, Biomar UK, AKVA Group, Skretting Australia as well as the Huon Aquaculture Company.

He is leaving New Zealand for family reasons, and his last day with the Company will be 9 October 2018.

New Zealand King Salmon has commenced an executive search to replace Mr Whyte and will provide a further market update in due course
