Oldest bank in French-speaking Switzerland eyes up salmon farming for investors

Landolt & Cie launches team to focus on “the protein of tomorrow”.

Le Temps reports Landolt & Cie Bank has created a new team focused on the development of salmon farming.

Headquartered in Lausanne, the Swiss bank specialises in asset management for wealthy private customers and was founded in 1780 in Neuchâtel.

“We want to attract investors to promote a sustainable vision of food,” said President Pierre Landolt. “It is a choice dictated by consumers who are more informed about the conditions of their food production and who want healthy products”.

Landolt himself is interested in aquaculture and invested in Switzerland’s first closed circuit perch farm.
