Optimar has announced the promotion of Jannicke Valderhaug to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), a role aimed at bolstering the company’s global sales and marketing initiatives.
Valderhaug, who has served as Optimar’s Marketing Manager since 2020, brings extensive knowledge of both the company and the seafood processing industry to her new position.
“We have a fantastic sales team of dedicated professionals, and I look forward to working even more closely with them,” Valderhaug said. “My role is to contribute to their success and provide them with the tools they need to deliver in a demanding market.”
She emphasized Optimar’s long-standing commitment to its customers and its culture of innovation, which she sees as pivotal to the company’s ongoing growth. “Optimar has a proud history and will remain a reliable partner for generations to come. Together, we will strengthen Optimar’s position and seize the opportunities the market offers,” she added.
Strategic Growth with Strong Foundations
Optimar, headquartered on Norway’s West Coast and deeply embedded in the region’s maritime cluster, has long combined tradition and innovation in its operations. CEO Siggi Olason noted that the appointment aligns with the company’s strategic efforts to enhance its organizational capacity and better serve its customers globally.
“This strategic move is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen our organization and ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations,” Olason said.
Valderhaug’s leadership is expected to play a key role in Optimar’s drive to solidify its market position while adapting to industry demands.
