Optimar appoints Herman Helgesen as Project Manager.
Technology supplier Optimar has announced the appointment of Herman Helgesen to its leadership team as Project Manager, according to a statement released Thursday morning.
Helgesen brings over 18 years of industry experience from his tenure at Vard, where he held a variety of roles. Optimar highlighted his extensive expertise and prior contributions as a consultant, describing him as a “valuable resource” with strong engagement in the sector.
“His background in both engineering and project management will undoubtedly be an asset. I’m excited to fully embrace this new role and work with such a strong brand as Optimar,” Helgesen said in the statement.
Headquartered in Valderøya, Sunnmøre, Optimar specializes in automated fish processing systems used on fishing vessels, onshore facilities, and within the aquaculture industry.
