Oslo and Santiago stock exchange sign cooperation agreement

Both stock exchanges will sign cooperation agreement to facilitate salmon companies in Chile and Norway.

Norway and Chile are seeking to promote the list of companies in the salmon industry in both stock markets according to elmercurio.

At the beginning of the year, Salmones Camanchaca became the first South American salmon farm to list on the Oslo Stock exchange.

At the time of the listing, the parent company’s managing director, Ricardo Garcia, said:
“(The industry) is like a 15-year-old boy,” explained Garcia. “He’s maturing and convincing his peers in society that he’s behaving well and that its worthwhile to believe in.”

The signing will take place tomorrow, by the general manager of the Santiago Stock Exchange, José Antonio Martínez, and the executive vice president of Primary Markets and Legal Affairs of the Oslo Stock Exchange, Oivind Amundsen.
