Felipe Sandoval, the outgoing president of industry organization, SalmonChile, and former Cermaq and Pharmaq exec, Tore Valderhaug, have been given roles in new salmon-farming business, Salmon Camanchaca, Chilean El Mercurio writes.
Salmon Camanchaca is about to list on the Oslo Stock Exchange and now has two executives with years of industry experience to guide the new entity.
Valderhaug was chief financial officer in both Pharmaq and Cermaq chief financial.
Sandoval was for years director of public affairs in AquaChile, and he headed the industry crisis team that tackled the ISA virus issue head-on when it leveled Chilean coastal commerce.
