Dr. Meritxell Diez-Padrisa has joined Norwegian fish health specialist PatoGen’ as Senior Fish Health Advisor, the company announced Tuesday.
Diez-Padrisa has previously held positions with Mowi Scotland, Grupo Culmarex SAU and most recently with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and brings a wealth of expertise in diagnostics and the application of veterinary medicine to aquaculture.
Hamish Rodger, Chief Fish Health officer at PatoGen called the appointment “excellent news” and “Meritxell is a renowned and highly experienced aquaculture vet and her appointment will ensure we continue to develop high standards in diagnostic services to our aquaculture clients.”
Established in 2005, PatoGen has operations in Alesund, Oslo, and Bodo in Norway and Oban in Scotland.
