Pink Fish restaurant to open Singapore branch in April

Norway’s salmon answer to KFC is also opening its first airport restaurant at Stavanger Airport Sola, Norway.

After Easter, Pink Fish will open its first airport restaurant in its own country, reports Solabladet.

In the first half of 2019, Pink Fish will open in Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport.

“Pink Fish was actually designed with airports in mind,” wrote Pink Fish on its website.

“It’s a little bit of a coincidence that Sola will be the first airport we open, as this is governed by the tender competitions and areas that Avinor announces. But we believe our concept fits well here. We are proud that we won over larger, more established players,” said Ronny Gjøse. Gjøse along with Bocuse d’Or winner Geir Skeie and ship designer Svein Sandvik are the brains behind Pink Fish.

According to the newspaper, customers will have the opportunity to book via an app, so food is ready for fast pick up.

Pink Fish said they are still continuing their goal to open 1,000 restaurants within ten years.
