Israeli aquaculture veteran Guy Alon joins land-based leaders.

In a press release, AquaMaof writes that it has hired Guy Alon as division manager.

AquaMaof said that Alon is one of the most prominent figures in Israeli aquaculture industry, with almost 30 years of experience in the full range of those disciplines.

Alon has held senior positions at the fish farm DagOn (sea bass, bream and barramundi) based at the Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael. He has been CEO of that company since 2011

“We are delighted to welcome on board Guy Alon, one of the top managers in Israel in the field of aquaculture,” said AquaMaof CEO David Hazut.

“Guy will take on the important role of leading the operations relating to what is a core value for the company, encompassing the entire spectrum of AquaMaof’s operations – customer success. In all our customer dealings, from the first contact, until the installation and operation of an advanced RAS facility, our primary goal is the success of our customer. We wish Guy every success in this important task,” he added.

In his new role at AquaMaof, Alon will manage cross-organizational customer service processes, create new methodologies in the world of customer success, and lead the division’s growing team in its ongoing customer support operations.

“I am happy to join AquaMaof in these exciting times of company growth and a range of projects under development,” said Alon.

“I look forward to contributing my experience to help expand the company’s customer service offerings, as part of the company’s vision and strategy to continue investing resources in this area, and advancing it to even higher professional levels,” he added.
