Trine Sæther Romuld has been appointed as SalMar’s new COO & CFO following the departure of Trond Tuvstein.

The salmon farmer informed markets in a stock exchange announcement on Wednesday that Romuld (50), who has extensive experience from both Norwegian and international companies, will be taking the roles from 1st of July 2019

Romuld has had multiple high-level roles within the seafood industry; CFO in Pan Fish which became Marine Harvest (and now Mowi), board member and member of the audit committee in Bakkafrost, and as a board member and leader of the audit committee of former Aker Seafoods/Havfisk.

“I’m very pleased to get Trine as part of our team. Her experience from the seafood industry combined with her broad experience from growth companies are qualities that suit very well with our ambitions in SalMar,” said CEO Olav-Andreas Ervik.

SalMar’s former CFO, Trond Tuvstein, resigned from the company in January.
