SalMar, the world’s second-largest salmon farmer, reported a total harvest volume of 60,300 metric tons for Q3 2024, down 23% from the 78,100 metric tons harvested during the same period in 2023.

- Farming Central Norway: 38,200 tons, down 21% from 48,400 tons
- Farming Northern Norway: 18,300 tons, down 29% from 25,700 tons
- SalMar Aker Ocean: 2,100 tons (no comparable figure from 2023)
- Icelandic Salmon: 1,800 tons, down 55% from 4,000 tons
