SalMar heir Gustav Magnar Witzøe (26) met the press on Thursday during the opening of a new hotel called “The Hub” in Oslo.
At the red carpet, Witzøe appeared with celebrity stylist Jan Thomas. Jan Thomas told the publication Nettavisen that he and Witzøe have known each other for several years.
“Some are “keepers”, while others come and go. Gustav is a “keeper”, said Jan Thomas.
Witzøe was recently named the world’s richest man under the age of 30 by Forbes. According to the US magazine, he has a fortune of around USD 3 billion. About all the new found attention Witzøe told Dagbladet that:
“I’m starting to get used to it, but I think it’s just sick every time. I don’t really understand it. It’s difficult to comprehend,” he said and continued:
“It’s pretty sick to be on the same list as Kylie Jenner. I’m just a Froya guy who has ended up on a list. It’s not much more than that,” he added.
