Salmon still driving force behind Austevoll’s earnings

Austevoll Seafood post turnover of EUR 558.1 million and operating profit of EUR 80.9 million in the third quarter.

The biggest driver behind the results was the controlling ownership of Lerøy Seafood Group, which reported an operating profit of EUR 69.2 million.

Auustevoll Seafood’s extensive oil and fishmeal business in Peru had seasonal activity in the quarter, according to presentation material from the company.

Income from affiliates, the largest of which is Norskott Havvbruk and Pelagia, was EUR 4.4 million.

Profit before tax, and before biomass adjustment, was EUR 79.6 million for Austevoll Seafood’s fishery and farming conglomerate.
