In a statement on the Santiago Stock Exchange, the Chilean salmon farmer Salmones Austral writes that its CEO Don Gastón Cortéz has been hospitalised.
The board entered an extraordinary meeting on Friday and agreed to appoint as management control officer Don Patricio Urbina Konigquien to take on the role.
This designation shall be valid for as long as Cortéz remains on medical leave. It is not known why he is in hospital.
