Seafood veteran appointed as Bristol Seafood COO

Brett Heidtke had a stint at Stavis Seafoods and was recently Bristol Seafood’s Director of Operations.

Bristol Seafood has promoted Brett Heidtke to Chief Operating Officer (COO), it wrote in a press release. As Chief Operating Officer, Heidtke will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, overseeing safety, quality, production, logistics and maintenance.

The processor does wild and farmed salmon as well as cod and scallops as part of its My Fish Dish Line.

Heidtke has twenty-one years of experience in seafood production, most recently as Director of Operations at Stavis Seafoods, and previously Plant Manager of Slade Gorton and Sonoma Seafoods.
