The cleaning staff at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands have gone on a spontaneous strike, the Dutch news agency ANP reports according to Reuters.

The reason being that they will not receive the same bonus as the 15,000 other employees at the airport have been offered now that the airport is struggling with staff shortages.

In recent weeks, Schiphol has been plagued by chaos with long queues and cancellations, due to a shortage of staff following the pandemic.
