Water treatment specialist Sterner has announced the appointment of Tor Espen Skoglund as Sales Manager for the aquaculture market.
Skoglund, who brings extensive leadership experience in the industry, will play a key role in strengthening Sterner’s position as demand for its solutions continues to rise.
The aquaculture sector is of strategic importance for Sterner, particularly in the area of sludge treatment technology, which is critical for improving the environmental performance of fish farming facilities. Skoglund’s experience includes leading Innovasjø Akvakultur and Aquality, where he focused on business development and environmental monitoring solutions.
Stian Johnsen, CEO of Sterner, welcomed Skoglund’s appointment, noting his leadership and understanding of customer needs. Skoglund will be based in Bergen, a key region for the company’s aquaculture operations in Norway.
Sterner has been expanding its footprint in land-based fish farming and sludge treatment technologies. The company, which has been in operation since 1990, generates annual revenues exceeding NOK 300 million ($26.8 million) and employs approximately 70 people across its locations.
