1,200 m² plant expansion completed where Petit Navire smoked salmon brand is produced.
Ouest-France reports that MerAlliance has completed a 1,200 m² expansion at its Quimper-based (Finistère), factory in France, ahead of the busy Christmas season.
This work, which took a year to complete, will “optimise the industrial performance” of the site. The site area is now increased to 12,000 m2.
In September 2014, MerAlliance was acquired by Thai Union, through its Paris-based subsidiary MW Brands, whose portfolio includes the John West tinned salmon range.
