Naomi Matthews appointed MD of Trident Seafoods Europe and Pickenpack Seafoods
Naomi Matthews has been appointed as Managing Director of Trident Seafoods Europe and Pickenpack Seafoods GmbH, overseeing operations in Germany and the Netherlands.
Matthews, who has an extensive background in food retail and manufacturing, announced her return to the seafood sector in a statement, expressing enthusiasm for her new role. “I am delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as MD at Trident Seafoods Europe and MD at Pickenpack Seafoods GmbH. Thank you to all the Trident and Pickenpack team for welcoming me onboard,” she said.
With a career spanning Australia, the UK, and Canada, Matthews has held leadership positions at Coles Australia, Woolworths, and Sobeys, as well as serving as Global Food Innovation Director and Commercial Director UK for Costa Coffee, a Coca-Cola-owned company. In the UK, she was also Commercial & Innovation Director at Park Cakes Bakery.
Trident Seafoods is North America’s largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company, operating in 60 countries. The Germany-based operations include one of Europe’s largest value-added seafood facilities, serving major retailers and foodservice clients across the continent.
