Cryogenic technology equipment and solutions company INOXCVA and Fuelgarden manufacture terminal for Mowi’s feed facility at Kyleakin, Scotland.
In a press release, INOXCVA writes that, under the supervision of energy consultancy and advisory firm Fuelgarden, it has set up the first-ever multifunctional mini LNG terminal in the UK for Mowi Scotland.
The Indian multinational said that the “first–of–its–kind terminal” will “be considered as a future template for type of mini LNG Terminals in UK and across the globe”.
Fuelgarden managing director Dag Lilletvedt told SalmonBusiness that the site is finished and supplying gas to Mowi´s feed factory.
“The LNG terminal was commissioned by Fuelgarden, and taken over and put operation by Mowi, in March of this year,” he said.
INOXCVA manufactured and supplied the mini LNG Terminal on a turnkey supply basis suitable for natural gas consumption at the fish feed factory.
The mini LNG Terminal is capable to take LNG through small ships as well as by semi-trailer and IMO container. All major equipment was designed and manufactured in INOXCVA’s manufacturing facility in India.
The company said it was installed “under harsh and challenging on-site conditions”.
