Denny’s restaurants will serve wild Alaskan salmon, provided by Trident Seafoods.

Denny’s, a US restaurant chain with more than 1,400 units nationwide, is offering wild Alaskan salmon from Seattle-based Trident Seafoods on its menu for National Seafood Month this October.

The initiative is a collaboration with US based non-profit organization Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP), marking their second consecutive annual campaign to boost seafood consumption. The promotion titled “Fall In Love With Seafood” will feature grilled Alaska salmon as a limited-time offering.

The campaign is part of an ongoing effort to highlight seafood’s nutritional value and diversity. Trident Seafoods is the largest seafood company in the United States, harvesting primarily wild-caught seafood in Alaska.

Established in 1973, the Seattle-based company specialises in the harvesting, processing, and distribution of seafood and holds extensive operations in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

In September, Trident secured a contract worth $800,000 to supply 16,720 cases of canned pink salmon to federal food and nutrition programmes. Trident will deliver the salmon in November and December of this year.
