Noordzee International buys Varia Vis premises so it can expand its salmon processing

Dutch frozen seafood supplier to expand its activities with salmon.

Dutch-based Noordzee International has bought Varia Vis, also based in Holland, the company posted on LinkedIn.

From October 2019, Noordzee International – a frozen seafood supplier – wants to process salmon here. The company is already involved in flatfish and cod processing and now wants to expand its activities with salmon.

The factory will be equipped with the newest technologies.

Varia Vis will continue to exist despite the sale of the property.

On LinkedIn the company wrote:

“With humble pride, we announce that, once again, we can add another division in our company. In the past two years, we expanded our, already extensive, product scope with our own cod production in a brand new factory with great success. Motivated by this success and the growing demand of our customers inquiring for salmon with us because of the quality, service and innovation they are used to from Noordzee, we decided to meet this demand. To be able to accommodate these requirements we acquired a state-of-the-art production facility (Varia Vis) where this production will take place”.
