WellFish Tech appoints Dave Cockerill as UK Director.
Aquaculture diagnostics firm WellFish Tech has announced the appointment of Dave Cockerill as UK Director. He will join the company in May.
Cockerill brings over 30 years of experience in veterinary and aquaculture health roles. He most recently served as Biology Director at The Scottish Salmon Company, now part of Bakkafrost Scotland, where he worked for over seven years. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Marine Harvest (now Mowi Scotland) and Fish Vet Group, following an early career in veterinary practice.
Cockerill holds a BVSc in Veterinary Science from the University of Pretoria.
In a statement shared via WellFish Tech’s LinkedIn page, Cockerill said he was “excited to join this innovative team on its journey to harness clinical pathology data, to provide tools that objectively inform management decisions of veterinarians and fish farmers.”
