Wester Ross Salmon has announced the promotion of Enis Yalcin to the position of Fish Health and Welfare Manager.
Yalcin joined the company in December 2023 as a Seawater Assistant, where he gained practical experience in production operations, environmental analyses, and fish health management. His promotion comes after just one year with the company, reflecting his contributions and expertise in maintaining high standards of fish welfare.
With an academic background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Mugla University in Turkey and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Aquaculture from the University of Stirling, Yalcin brings a strong foundation to his new role.
In his capacity as Fish Health and Welfare Manager, Yalcin will oversee initiatives aimed at ensuring optimal fish health and welfare standards at Wester Ross.
