Manchester City star Erling Braut Haaland features in a new video campaign promoting Norwegian seafood, launched by the Norwegian Seafood Council on October 21, 2024.
While Haaland has been an ambassador for Norwegian seafood since earlier this year, this is the first campaign video released as part of his partnership.
The two videos highlight his personal seafood favourites—salmon and turbot.
Shot during a national team camp, the campaign will air on TV and social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram under the “Godfisk” brand.

“Through this film production, we are taking the collaboration with Erling Braut Haaland a step further. He is a fantastic seafood ambassador and was as professional on set as he is on the football pitch. We are therefore very much looking forward to showing off the result, first in Norway and then with our own media outlets internationally,” said Seafood Norway marketing director Camilla Beck in a press release.
“We are going to show two films, both of which will highlight salmon as the perfect supplement for sports heroes. I can promise tempting food pictures that are sure to make people’s mouths water, while also presenting a charming Haaland with a twinkle in his eye,” said marketing manager Agnete Bell at Norway’s Seafood Council.
The campaign aims to encourage greater seafood consumption in Norway, targeting a broad audience across different media channels.
