Helen Conlon returns to Scotland to join Scottish Sea Farms
Scottish Sea Farms has appointed Helen Conlon as Fish Health and Welfare Manager for Mainland South, marking her return to the Scottish aquaculture sector following nearly two years in Tasmania with Huon Aquaculture.
Helen previously held roles at Loch Duart Salmon and Nordic Cover, and in 2022 was named the Rising Star at the Women in Scottish Aquaculture (WiSA) Awards. She holds an MSc in Coastal and Marine Management from the University Centre of the Westfjords in Iceland and a BSc in Marine Zoology from Newcastle University.
Conlon announced her appointment on LinkedIn, saying she was “excited to be back in Scotland” and looking forward to contributing to fish health and welfare efforts at Scottish Sea Farms.
