Maritech appoints new CEO

Odd Arne Kristengård has been appointed as the new boss of the seafood and logistic software solutions company.

Maritech reports that Odd Arne Kristengård, who has been serving as acting CEO since June, was awarded the top job from Monday.

Former boss Janne T. Mostøl stepped down in June.

Maritech is a software, IoT and analysis tools to the seafood and logistics industry. It has offices in Norway, the USA, Canada, Iceland and Chile

Odd Arne Kristengård has been working for the company since 2010, the last six years as COO. He has extensive experience from various roles related to management and IT development and holds degrees in IT and economics from Molde University College and NTNU.

“Maritech has grown rapidly and become a leading software company with a global reach. We are convinced Odd Arne is the right person to lead the company through the next phase of consolidation and development. Building infrastructure to support a rapidly expanding technology company is no small task, and Odd Arne has been crucial in steering the company´s technological vision in the right direction. His expertise will ensure we have the right foundation, tools, and processes to support our further global growth,” said Mette Kamsvåg, Chair of the Board of Directors for Maritech.
